新しい情報はどこから生まれるのでしょうか？ それは、収斂する二つのイメージから奥行き感が生まれるように、差異から生まれます。異なる二つの記述の統合から新しい種類の情報が生まれるのです。個人的な天才を作り出すワークショップの中で私たちが強調する形成妥当性条件の一つは、行動する前に少なくとも二つ以上の記述をもつ必要があるというものです。

The minimum unit of mind is difference.
Where does new information come from? It comes out of difference just like depth perception comes out of the two convergent images. A new class of information emerges from the synthesis of two different descriptions. One of the wellformedness conditions we're going to insist on in working towards personal genius is that you need at least two descriptions before acting.
